Internship in the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance 🌌

08.2019

This summer, I spent four months in the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance, Florence, at the Florence Classical Arts Academy, under the guidance of Nadezhda Molugova. It was my first experience working with a group of artists and in this industry. Throughout my internship, I contributed to website development, managed social media accounts, organized events, cultivated partnerships, and hosted visiting student groups from other countries.

I'm grateful for this opportunity, which not only enriched my understanding of the art industry but also allowed me to immerse myself in Italian culture and embrace the enthusiasm that Italy brings.Β

Starting my master's journey in Finland was a significant decision for me. I owe this decision to my wonderful exchange study experience during my bachelor's studies, which enabled me to make this choice.

I am delighted to have accepted the offer from the University of Oulu, located near the Arctic Circle. It's in a place entirely new to me, but I'm excited about this!

I believe that this will be an amazing journey, and this is where the story begins. πŸ˜€

Time has flown by; four years have passed, and now I have graduated. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all my teachers and schoolmates who have played a pivotal role in shaping me into today's me.

A special note of appreciation goes to Prof. Li Yu, who not only supervised my thesis titled "Supply-Demand Relationships Analysis in the B2B Agriculture eCommerce Industry from a Relationship Marketing Perspective" but also guided us during our participation in the top academic competition in China known as the "Challenge Cup." Under Prof. Li Yu's supervision, our team won the top prize in the provincial round and the third prize in the national round.

Besides, I am happy that I made the decision to do exchange study in Finland, that was one of the best parts of my undergraduate study. 🌸

I appreciate all the honors I received during my undergraduate study including outstanding graduate, China national scholarship, principle scholarship, as well as the faculty scholarship (for 8 times).

Furthermore, I would like to extend my gratitude to all my team members from my time working in the Publicity Department within the Student Union as the director, big cheers!πŸ₯‚

Over the past two years, I spent each of my summer and winter holidays working at "Beijing New Oriental," the largest private education company in China. My journey at this company has taken me from the role of a teaching assistant to a media developer, and then to a campus manager. Managing a campus with over 900 students and a team of around 50 members is a significant responsibility for a girl at 20. Because this role involves a wide range of tasks, including human resource management, budget management, development of marketing plans, team negotiations, social media management, resource management, and more.

This experience marked several significant "firsts" in my career. It was the first time I realized that my decisions could influence whether a person is recruited. It was also the first time I transitioned from interacting primarily with students to dealing with their parents. Moreover, it was the first time where I felt I had the power to impact not only my team but also others within the organization. Undoubtedly, these responsibilities brought about pressure, but I am happy that I made it!😊

I would like to express my gratitude to my manager for affording me this invaluable opportunity and to my dedicated team for their unwavering support.
